I guess if you put in for low-odds draws each year it would be appropriate. Meanwhile, some of us will be putting in for other draws and getting our tags every few years. Keeps applying and crying if it suits you.

Do you pay for those up front and then wait three months to get it?
Can you get them a day early if you go to the back door?
Are you excited to get it, but then feel like a loser for the next nine months?
Do all your friend make a special trip over to your house to show you their "selected" hats?
Do you feel as though you just got ripped off the moment the debit hits your bank account?
Does everyone you know walk around in a daze mumbling obscenities' if it doesn't arrive by June 14th?
Does it make you happy when you see others wearing the same hat?
Do you cry just a little bit when you first put in on?
Does your wife start wearing an extra pair of panties because you walk around shouting "Back door, back door. Yeah I should use the back door" like Dustin Hoffman's character in Rainman?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
