They are a separate nation. We can't tell Canada or Mexico how to regulate hunting either.
It's total BS that they can bait and not the rest of "us". You should see what they do to the elk herds too.

I've never seen a tribal air force, army or navy. How does this nation protect itself? How does this "nation" employ it's people? Tribal nation dept. of highways, etc.?? Just asking..........
we need to be upset with the urban I-5 corridor for voting out baiting and hounds.
Quote from: bearpaw on June 16, 2013, 02:27:54 PMwe need to be upset with the urban I-5 corridor for voting out baiting and hounds. How about just being upset with any of the mental midgets that voted out baiting and hunting with hounds (whether or not they live along the I-5 corridor? (I'm sure there were plenty of people from Spokane and Tri Cities that voted for those initiatives as well).
But Bear that would be to difficult, why don't we just conrinue with the easy route and bash the Tribes.
If this link works, it shows the 1996 Initiative results with a link to the county breakdown.http://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/results_report.aspx?e=17&c=&c2=&t=&t2=5&p=&p2=&y=Looking through, by my count only 9 counties voted against it:Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Garfield, Lewis, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille & Stevens.
I really wish each county could vote on there own hunting laws. To much pull from king county to mess with all of the laws that have taken away baiting and hound hunting in our back yard. My dad has always said if they want them so bad and want to protect them. Lets load some up in the horse trailer and go deliver them
The real question is how the hell does a game management decision get on the ballot to be decided by uninformed people that wear their emotions on their sleeves?
