Spokane area taxidermists....
« on: October 14, 2008, 05:01:45 PM »
Hey guys and gals, looking for any recommendations on Spokane area taxidermists that you guys have used.  I'd love to take my Canada Moose over to Bucklucky or Michelle, but even with removable horns that would be difficult to get them back home to Spokane without renting a box van, as my buddy is getting his done as well.  Thanks for any recommendations.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

I would think it would take them several months to get it done anyway, this would give you plenty of time to make arrangements to get it home. Removable antlers would allow it to fit in the back of any truck/canopy :twocents:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Well although that is true, I also have a taxidermist who has done much of my current mounts back home in Montana whom I could take the Moose to as well.  I was hoping to get it done locally to save the drive if possible.  Anyone use any local (Spokane) taxidermists?

Fuson Taxidermy in Suncrest. Quality work with a great turn around.
509-276-1040 have several shoulder mounts and I am pleased with the work. Also a great Bobcat.

Anybody know if these guys/gals do duck mounts?

Looking to do one after the season is over.

Thanks,

Ellsworth

I have used Fuson Taxidermy and I was very happy.

Added for Ducks:

My son shot his first duck and wanted it mounted. I have heard good things about "True to Life Taxidermy "http://www.trutolifetaxidermy.com/  in Wenatchee. After meeting Jeff he is a really nice guy who is very passionate about birds. He should have the work done for me in a few weeks and I will post a picture.
