Wyoming Region C
« on: June 19, 2013, 08:13:24 PM »
My hunting partner and I drew region C tags for deer.  We are planning on being there for two weeks and will be trying to do it on public land or the hunter access/walk-in areas.  My question is not what ranchers to contact (we are not afraid to do the knocking on doors if we have to), but if any of you have had luck on any of the state lands or BLM lands.  I have purchased the landowner chip for my GPS and see a lot of BLM land near the Powder River which is the reason we decided to try this area.  We have hunted the Powder River in Montana and like the terrain.  Also we have purchased spotting scopes and are not afraid to get off the road.

Thank you for any suggestions of public land to try and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Aaron
