I thought the crosshairs represented modern firearms well?  :dunno:

Cool Can you do one with a black bear and Smokepole?

What's a smokepole?
Muzzleloader ..I assume !

Ohh ok lol.

-To answer, yea I could...  No offense to everyone who wants every fox, coyote, rabbit, bird, mule deer, elk, blacktail, whitetail, bear, cougar, squirrel, bow, shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader included in a 216x80 logo  :chuckle:.... Simplicity and branding is key for a logo. I can't include everything and I don't necessarily want to or you couldn't see anything.

Aside from suggestions, I don't mind criticism, if you hate it then tell me. I just can't change what I've submitted for a competition that other members might be developing something awesome to submit - which I'm hoping to see. Branding takes time, I don't want to deter anyone by getting an unfair advantage, and changing mine until everyone agrees they like it - does that make sense? Once all is said and done though, IF MINE WINS, I can create variations but I will keep the overall logo look the same.

Hope that makes sense to ya guys! :)

If you have a arrow in there your leaving out the muzzy hunters, rifle hunters and the bird hunters.  May want to come up with something that speaks to the majority not just the bow guys.

I've addressed this a few times now, an arrow is the projectile from the bow (I did not include the weapon) and on the far right side there is a rifle scope. Sorry if I did not include every weapon choice available I wasn't sure how to do it without convoluting the overall design.

I didn't really notice it.  It doesn't stand out like the arrow does.  It kind of get's lost in the background.
Exactly. And everyone wants more??

To me it looks like a bowhunters decal.  I agree less is more, but the arrow is standing out more prominently than anything else.

OK, I'll be quiet now.
Bowhunters dont use scopes. You big silly goose.

Maybe if the arrow is toned down in some way? Maybe like how the crosshairs are obscured/behind the text?

Don't touch it, They can make they're own logos  Everyone's acting like yours is the official logo already.

Smossy's Girl, thank you so much for all the work you're doing! I think it's an awesome logo, and it's not easy trying to make everyone happy! Possibly an easy fix for the "it's too much archery", could the fletching on the arrow be changed to a different color? Orange attracts attention, so maybe if it was a more subdued color people wouldn't notice it quite as much. Again, I think you're doing an awesome job!

This right here is why I make art for me and will NEVER be a graphic artist.... :chuckle: :chuckle: also why I am really unsure if I will enter something or not...don't need myself in that headspace and just sketching last night put me there because I was trying to create for someone other than me....

Lol I used to want to be one, went to college for it, then I ended up liking art for ME better. Never went too far with it professionally... I have done some logos, some graphic designing with websites, decals, etc. but after a while the business demand side of it is not worth the pretty things I want to make for myself. I now just dabble with interesting things here and there.. like website competitions  :chuckle: and designing vinyl decals for people etc.
