I feel like a little kid at Christmas right now.
Honestly, in 38 years of big game hunting, I really have not dedicated the time to hunt muley's. Elk had always come first for me.
Over the last few years, even though I have collected points for deer over these many years, I decided to enter the draws instead of points. Why? Because that really nice muley is void from the wall and the time had come to fill that void. Sure, I have taken some really nice bucks over the years but nothing that warranted the brought back to life memories.
Heckuva an early 50th birthday present.

I just put in for a 3 week vacation request. Since I approve the vacation requests around here, I'm good to go.
