Goose Prairie quality bull. Bumping, here I come!
« on: June 19, 2013, 06:44:51 PM »
Woo Hoo, drew with 5 points.  Would have been better had they not opened up the cows this year.  Now I have to figure out how to hunt a bull.   :yike:

didn't want to advertise an already impossible tag...shrug.  It'd be my luck that the one guy who was ahead of me that one year for the moose tag got the idea from my post :P

I know the area I shot my cow last year.  Didn't have time to see more than 2 bulls though (shot my cow on day 3).  Also got 2 deer last year and the freezers are still full, so I'll be holding out for a nice bull.  You draw a bull tag?

Hmm...figured with 62 other people drawn for the bull tag I would have had a lot more chatter on this subject.

Was up in that area last week, doing some scouting, and saw a couple nice bulls. Good luck

Was considering putting a camera or two up there, but would have to invest in the cameras and risk them getting stolen.  I know there are a bunch of big bulls around (have seen them) but would be curious to see just how many bulls might show.  Then have to decide if I want a couple of cheap cameras...in case they get stolen, or get the high end ones with password protection and protective steel case...

I heard the biggest bulls come in from the park in the north end of the unit.  Good luck scouting!
