make sure you scout it out and get in shape.   the elk sometimes move around and some hold tight.   there are some bruisers and dont shoot the first one.   mike w

Dad and I both had 13 points and put in as individuals not a group both drew our first choice.  We are very familiar with the area and will be packing in on horse back  :IBCOOL:

Should be a great hunt, especially if you're going deep on the horses. Please post some pics and a story. I love that country.
