Put in for Dayton big bull elk and did not get drawn. Maybe next year. Good luck to all you special permit holders.

how did you get 18?  i thought 17 was max.  you should now have 18 for next year just like me.  and 18 moose and 18 sheep points.

Everyone who started at the beginning of the point system (1996) and has applied every year since, will have 18 points. What you have to realize, is the point you earn each year is given BEFORE the draw, not after. You get 1 point added to your total when you submit your application. So 18 points used in this year's draw would be correct for anyone who has been in it from the beginning.

Interesting enough, you could have 30 and only have slightly better odds than you did this year.    :)
