IEP won't let you camp on their property, but there's a resort with RV space on Newman Lake. There's a bit of DNR land towards Hauser Lake, Id but it gets hit hard by target shooters. You might be able to camp on the DNR land but it isn't exactly ideal for a camp. The resort might be the best bet or the KOA off of Trent. That's about all that comes to mind. There isn't a whole hell of a lot for public ground to set up camp that I can think of. Hope this helps a little. Someone else may know of something around here that slipped my mind. Good luck, there definitely isn't a shortage of moose up Thompson Creek.

BRGS, if you wanna pm me I hunt IEP land in that gmu all the time. It can sometimes be difficult to find there land as they dont have great maps.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

I am told to hold out for 45” + but just want make sure this is realistic. Have any of you guys seen any bigger in this unit. I have been up their once and planning on going this weekend  to learn more about the area. So far no moose but at least learning the area. Thanks again for all you input.
