Thanks guys had surgery friday and it took longer than they expected. they could not fix the radial head and ended up cutting it off installing a titanium one. Still super sore but excited about the moose hunt. i got to hunt moose twice as a helper with my father and grandfather many years ago in Wyoming.

7 points and drew a Moose tag...

It's stories like this that give me hope!!

Amazing luck dude and sorry to hear about your elbow. Let's hope for a speedy recovery!

Sure seeing a lot of OIL tags being drawn this year with very few points. Congrats on the tags. Hope you heal fast!

That just goes to show how useless points are in a hard draw. Congrats on drawing the moose tag

you can drive your truck. Just buy and inland paper pass $65 for a family. You will have no problem with your cow any weekend

So here is what the new parts look like. They took the stitches out friday and now have a splint and started Physical therapy. No pushing or pulling with that arm for at least 4 more weeks. Got a Inland paper permit for $65 and am hoping to make it over next weekend to do a little scouting. Just depends on how everything goes. Tried to shot the 338 today off the bench and decided it would be better to do more practice with the 10/22. But on a side note did shoot the Thompson Encore in 308 and was dead on at 100yds.
