The ground will freeze and by mid afternoon will be thawing and will slid right out from under you or just push your truck in the ditch or over the edge. So be aware that in the dark early one morning you are just climbing higher and higher no problem, but later that day its a whole different ball game when you have to get back out. So plan accordingly and sometimes you just have to not go to that place that day.Ain't that the truth! Unfortunately, sometimes even four chains won't be able to dig into that super fine mud.Dang, i'm wondering if I should bring my motorcycle.

Quads and dirt bikes are not allowed on the Forest Service roads. Unless of course it's a dual sport bike. FYI

These are all archery bucks from the 2011 late entiat hunt, none of the three are what most people would shoot with this tag. I blew stalks on much larger deer than the buck I shot, but regardless of score I chose to have a shoulder mount done and am proud to hang my 130 buck on my wall. The 2 point my father shot, with artificial knees and hips on their way out, is with out a doubt the most memorable day of hunting of my life. A tag for the entiat is a trophy in itself, getting to hunt an area like this is an expiriance that won't be forgot regardless of the deer you wrap that tag around.
So what are you holding out for?
