Cougar home finally

As promised in my last thread, here's my finished cougar mount ready to hang up in my office. Turned out better than I expected! Having me in the picture helps show his true size. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.

Thanks everyone!! I was unsure about the open mouth, but it went along with the pose so well. He really did a 1st class mount. Here's a close up of his face, very well done.

I hope that you have better luck than I did. I checked on mine a day or two after my cougar was taken to the taxi. The taxi said that he had already thrown my skull away >:( It was a large one and it still bothers me all these years later.

The mount in this post is outstanding!

Thanks for all the great posts! I did get my skull and it was 15" on the nose. I also took a VERY nice lynx and here it is hung in my house. It may be my new favorite??
