Half Life-size Color Phase Bear (MNTaxidermy)
« on: June 20, 2013, 08:34:33 PM »
Here is a Half Life-size Color Phase Bear I finished up today.  It's got a really nice white patch on the chest and a blond stripe down the center on it's back.  Cape was cut a tad short for the pose but nothing a little habitat wouldn't fix.

I like it, looks a little more like I'm use to seeing them in the wild, not all snarley crazy looking.

On memorial day weekend I saw a bear stand up on it's hind legs and rub it back, shoulders, neck, up against a skinny tree with a little crook in it.  Kind of funny to watch.  It reminded me of watching the Jungle Book cartoon movie as a kid.  That would be a cool mount but a lot of work.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Never used this form before.  Wasn't happy with the head on the form after it came in.  Put a little work into it and looks a lot better than it did.
