I don't think I could tell the difference between a 190 and a 200.
Sure you can Jack, its 10. :chuckle:

Girlfriend drew 40-1 Antelope, hunt no. 4006!

Realize it's not a unit for monsters, but it'll be a good one to break us into antelope hunting.  We're building points in other states for quality down the road.  Her family is located in Nampa and Marsing, so they'll be able to get a little bit of scouting in for us ahead of time!

We drew unit 18 elk tags! Finally

Hunting partner pulled the same tag. We spent a lot of time in there last year (16 days) and saw some smoker bulls. Got one 360" we're going back after.  300"+ are dime a dozen in there...

I saw 1 really big bull 2 years ago in there. Last year didn't see much. Hunting area full of deer no elk in there.

Will be girlfriends first ever elk hunt.. 300" won't be slipping by her  :chuckle:

I know right where you were at there's definitely more deer in that one area! We did glass up two bulls around 2 miles away from there though! Wouldn't want to go after them without horses though!

We'll likely be hauling in a walltent then backpacking out from there into some areas.

We are backpacking in 5 mi.. Hunting from there for first 8 days.. We may have horses on standby for packing elk out. A local bowhunter told me where to hunt up there if we drew. He had close to 90 bulls on film! And they went 3 for 4 all bulls 320-340.. He passed 45 bulls estimated in the search for the bull he was after.. Ate the tag
