Where to teach first timers shotgun around Bellevue?
« on: June 21, 2013, 09:53:36 PM »
Hey all,

I have a few friends that wanted to learn to shoot. Their shotgun experience is 0.

I was debating between just heading out into the forest and throwing our own, or going to a sporting-clays/trap course for their first time.

Problem is I have no clue where i should go for the first option! I am looking for an area within an hour from Bellevue and have reviewed the 'no shooting zones' for King county, but beyond that I'm at a loss.

Anyone have some suggestions?

We ended up heading down to Ravensdale to the Seattle Skeet and Trap Club. Their sporting-clays course was perfect for teaching new shooters. Thanks all for the suggestions!
