Good job Beth.

Great story and a really great hunt. It reminded me of way back when, when Dad would get off work and we would head up Misquetto Creek with as little time and light left as you guys had.

Love the rain, the wind and the fog rolling in, but nothing beats the picture of your wife packing out her buck and your son giving the thumbs up ! !

Women aren't wimps, they just pretend to be sometimes so we do the work and they don't.  If she's going to shoot it, she's going to pack it, this ain't no summa' camp! ;)

Good job on the deer, and making her take ownership for it. :IBCOOL:

Then I tied the whole deer to my packboard. My wife asks, “your going to carry it out whole?” I laughed and said, “No, you are”. All she said was, “OK”.

That's too funny!  Exactly what I would've done.  Probably exactly what my wife would've said too....."Ok!"  :chuckle:

Great write up and pics.  Congrats to your wife!!
