Planning bowhunt into cascades for sep hunt. Anyone interested in teaming up?

I just got stationed here late last season and only hunted locally here in kitsap county. Looking to expand out into the backcountry this year and have been preparing for the Sep early archery in the Glacier Peak/Henry J wilderness area. Have been training physically and mentally preparing myself for the vicious terrain that lies ahead and was wondering if any like minded individuals are doing the same. I am willing to go solo but would probably be easier with help. I am planning on scouting (weekend trips) in July and in August depending on my schedule. I am on leave (vacation time) from Aug 30- Sep 22 and plan on spending most of it in the mountains (unless I tag out of course). Let me know if any of you are interested. Obviously we could converse back and forth and meet to shoot bows or scout or whatever.

Even if no one wants to go with me, as I know from experience that its hard to ind someone you trust to hunt with, I would appreciate any and all recommendations and advice for bow hunting in those areas as I am used to Arkansas whitetail hunting. Thanks again.

As of right now, I'm hunting with family in the cascades. If that changes, I'll let you know. On a seperate note, if you're looking for something local, shoot me a pm.

just keep your fingers crossed for an early snow melt. if the feed is up high in the back country the elk will make it there. Otherwise keep some lowland areas as a possibility. should increase your odds. Good luck
