My nephew has really gone crazy with the archery hunting hobby the last few years. He has more archery gizmos  than I knew existed! :chuckle: He has his kids shooting as well.

We had a great time! Some long waits between targets, but still fun! Took 7hrs to finish the 50 target African course! Love the rinehart targets, very easy to pull arrows.

As far as I know, you're supposed to stand behind the stake.

It looked like an insert to me also.  I think $50 was a little much for what I got.  If I had to choose a shoot between it at say bownanza id take bownanza every time.  I'll still shoot it next year but its not as good as people make it sound.
Im with you i will still go back next year! We still had a blast Even though the Iron Amos was the last time i was able to shoot before last weekend. If I started off Saturday the way I finished sunday one of those pins would have been mine!

I going to throw this question out there, if the Rinehart was to be held at another club here in western Washington , which club would you like it to be held at and why?

I did manage to stick the apple dead center off the deer's nose. Another in our party shot a leaf off the apple and it stayed on her arrow as it stuck in the hay.

As long as your touching the stake it doesn't matter where you stand.

Probably wouldn't have all the double targets too.  That would sure turn into a pissing match between clubs if someone tried to get it moved.

I am just wondering why all of you think the shoot had so many problems. I don't know if any of you have ever tried to put on a shoot like that but it takes a lot of work to make it happen. The one thing you do not know is how many shooters are going to show up, if I remember they get  around 500 shooters, This is one reason for longer lines at the targets, when it comes to the registration lines, if you were to preregister it would of gone a lot faster again lots of shooters registering all at once makes for longer lines. The bad targets well that part sucks, but the hosting club is not allowed to use there targets. I know that the Rinhart targets get a lot of arrows in them over the life of the tour. Capitol City puts on some of the best shoots in the state, its located centrally between Seattle and Portland, they have lots of camping area and parking. The crew that runs the club has been putting on shoots for a long time and they do know what they are doing. It was sad to see all the bashing of the shoot, when they work so hard to put on a shoot like this for all of us.

Not trying to bash any club or one person.  We have all said the shoot was good and we'd most likely all be back.
