Easton axis arrows recall
« on: June 23, 2013, 10:57:38 AM »
Saw this on another site, figured I would post it over here....

http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/2013/Axis-Arrows-Recalled-by-Easton/

This recall involves Easton Axis arrows in four different sizes and batch numbers, including size 300 with batch number 13169686, size 340 with batch number 13170143, size 400 with batch number 13170142 and size 500 with batch number 13169487. The carbon composite arrows are used for hunting and target archery. They are black with green and gray-colored graphics. Axis, Focused Energy, Easton, the size number and the batch number are printed on the arrows.

I'm looking at my last dozen Axis 300's but cannot find any batch number. They do say 'Third Generation" N-Fised Carbon.

It is kind of hard to see. Check this link.

I made a few bad shots and lost a couple in the trees last week. I was hoping mine were under the recall so I would have an excuse. Nope, just suck.

Damn that's hard to see. Had to run out to the shop and use my lighted magnifier, LOL.
Mine all start with 121 so I'm safe. Good to cuz they're all fletched with helical Blazers and 6 of em have Viper Tricks installed with the main blade horizontal. Too much tedious labor to have to return them.
