You don't need to scout too much, it should be an easy hunt. My friend had a rifle cow tag last year and filled his tag on the second day, must have been 150 head in the herd we found. Can't remember the road number but we hunted on the border of the winston by the river. The biggest advise I could give you, pay very good attention to what you shoot! One, you could have animals directly behind the one you shoot, they have big herds in there. And two, pay good attention and study your cow before you take her if you can. Hoof rot is very common in that unit and you don't want a nasty cow to take home, try to see if it's limping or just looks unhealthy. My friends cow had rot and he didn't get much meat out of her.
