First duck hunt
« on: October 16, 2008, 07:28:28 AM »
Hey guys, just wanted to tell you a little bit about my first duck hunt!

A buddy of mine owns some land (200 acres) in Duval. We got there around 4.45 and had shots at ducks all the way to the blind. We came up to the blind area and a flock of ducks (200-300) took off. It was great hunting all night. I even got a goose but we couldn;t find it (Dog was off her game). I am pretty sure it was dead since i got 3 loads into it before it hit the ground and i was shooting 2's

"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
