I've always used pink buzz-bombs on them in Alaska. Casting to any rises or jumpers. Works wonders off beaches for me.
I enjoy catching them but can't eat em. Can't seem to shake the horrible memory of the smell of them in the blast freezer at the cannery I worked at on PoW Island
