Lets see some observatory bucks and bulls!
« on: June 24, 2013, 06:47:04 PM »
I just got a couple of cams set this last weekend to try to get some bruisers on film before the archery bull hunt this year. I want to see some monsters :)

I saw a 7x7 bull in the Observatory during the 2011 muzzy season that I'm still losing sleep over.

2011 Observatory Bull. "Sled" tied this one to a tree for me😉. I just backed off 302 yards and smacked him with my 450 Ultra Magnum.

As he lays, crash & burn!

450 Ultra cartridge.

Recovered Speer "Hotcore" bullet.

Saw a lot bigger, don't take me wrong, it is a very nice bull and I would never pass on it either. We called a 7 point in to 40 yards and my dad had 3 musket caps miss fire   :bash: man that was hard seeing that bull so close and not hearing the gun go off. After we left we tryed shooting the gun one last time and sure enough the gun went off :'(

I'd be happy with any one of those. I saw a huge bull last year and hope I can find him again this year
