Gotta love the 36 but it's hard to beat a 1911.

My favorite 1911 is a 4" Springfield Champion I had Clark Custom work over.

I am a 1911 / Kimber fan all the way.  One huge difference you will notice between the kimber and the glocks is the trigger pull.  The Kimber will be crisp with very little slack and the glock....well it is a glock and the trigger pull is garbage.   :twocents:

What about the baby Glock 36?
Single stack .45acp.
 :dunno:

This is what I would suggest. The Glock 30 was too square in my hand to be comfortable, the 36 is enough of a difference to be very comfortable.

This is why I carry my M&P!  :) have some good time in with the XDS, undoutably the best thing to come out for a sub in years! Just last weekend it was rocking a steel chicken target at 100 yards offhand 75% being hits! Ideal SOB carry weapon!

I love 1911's. I like the design, the way they shoot and have enjoyed building them for years.

I carry a Glock 22. It's a love hate thing. The trigger sucks, I don't like the way it feels and the slidestop takes some getting used to. That said, I shoot it well and trust it. I've seen Glocks take abuse that 1911's can't take and work every time. I feel better about the Glock shooting it left handed (i'm righty) if needed. They are ugly.....

The sub compact 1911's have such a short recoil system and getting them to run correctly is tough and they are fussy about ammunition.(my opinion).

I guess my heart goes for the 1911, but my brain says Glock...

Personally I love SAO handguns, I love 1911's, and I'm not to fond of how a glock feels in my hand. I carry a 1911 for my daily and would be hard pressed to find something else that I would feel as comfortable having with me. Granted mine is a full size sig scorpion so there isn't much concealed carry happening but it doesn't bother me any if I'm printing or not.

The Sig Scorpion is a amazing handgun.

That it is. One of the best 1911's I have shot, slightly lower than my friends Wilson combat 1911 on my list.

Well I put the glock in the classifieds. Hoping it'll sell so I can look at 1911s. Gamer yours is sweet! Nothing beats the looks of a pretty 1911!
I am also going to look at 4 inch ones if my glock sells. Handled a 4 and 5 inch last night and they just feel good.

Shot the crap out of the Sig Nightmare the other day, ran like a champ. Not a single hick up but I still like the Scorpion better for some reason. Sig just makes a solid 1911.
