This sounds like something our family would really enjoy!!  I'm a brand new archery shooter, from Spokane, and this sounds like a great learning experience, as well as a lot of fun!

I'm guessing this is a Traditional only shoot since it has "Rendezvous" in the title?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

From what I read, on the website, http://www.elkhavenequestrian.com/ , absolutely no pets are allowed on the property.  That will probably keep us from being able to attend.  Our lab goes on all of our camping trips with us.  Unfortunately, I don't think we could find another option between now and then, for boarding our dog.

You can bring your dog, they just need to be kept on a leash and "picked up" after. Lots of people brought their dogs last year with no problems. They just don't want dogs running lose because they board and keep livestock on the property and for their own safety as arrows are flying all weekend.

Well, the dog wouldn't be accompanying us after all.  I'm trying to talk my son and my future son-in-law into joining me in attending this event.  It'd be the 3 of us and my 7 year old daughter.

Crossing my fingers!

Quick question...

The Family Membership...my son doesn't live with me but is obviously family.   Would the Family Membership cover him or would we each need to buy an individual membership?  Same in regards to the future son-in-law?

I'm just trying to get as much information as possible, to let them know what the total costs would be, so they can make an educated decision on if they'll be going or not.

I think the kids would be under your family membership and you son in law would be separate, but it is in a grey area so it will be at the discretion of the members at the registration table. The camping is per site so unless you have two trailers, one should cover you all. Hope that helps and hope all of you are able to make it.

You bet! Check in anytime.

The event spans Friday to Sunday but people are welcome to come for whatever part of the shoot you want. Come all weekend or just come out for a couple hours and shoot the course, or the long shoot, or just bring the kids out for the free events. See you there

Just a quick thank you to all of those who made it out to the rendezvous. It was a great event! The weather was perfect and the arrows were flying all weekend! Also a big thanks to all the sponsors for the awesome raffle items, lots of great gear went home with some very happy kids...and some big kids too!!

For those who weren't able to be there this year, you can mark your calendar now and plan for it next year...

The WSB rendezvous next year will be July 18th-20th... at the same location in Cle Elum.

THank you WSB for honoring "Colockumelk ".   I have no idea if he was a member or not, but you guys have stood up tall to recognize him and stand by a fellow bowhunter, community member.   I am not sure if all of you caught it or not, but the WSB auctioned off a life time membership, all proceeds going directly to Becky and the kids.   If I remember correctly Bearpaw won the auction and is now a lifetime member.   Thank you Shawn, Al, Chase1 and any other members that are involved in protecting our bowhunting freedoms.
