Is it just me or is anyone else doing math after looking at each pic in this thread?  All the posted bucks are shooters and fine trophies but 180 is pretty special.  It takes a couple nice long main beams, good spread credit, and some tall deep forks to get to 180.  Either that or a crap pile of kickers to boost the numbers.  Mass and good brow tines also help but some bucks though phenomenal trophies just aren't configured right to get there.  Phool, 200 has proved elusive for me as well.  I set a goal to get one DIY on public land and haven't yet closed the deal.  I'm only 34, though, so hopefully I have at least 20 more good years of trying and I'll enjoy every minute of it!!

Yeah, It's what's casting the shadow behind it. Sorry but that's the only pic I have of that buck.

That makes more sense.  Great buck.

Has anyone on here ever harvested or been part of a hunt where a 250+ inch buck was harvested?  I can't honestly say I've ever seen a buck with my own eyes that big.  Ive seen a photo of one buck that big but never did see the buck.  Obviously a few show up in magazines and on the Internet.  Anyway, just curious.

Some giants on here so far, Antlerking I know I have seen some straight on shots of that slug, if you get the time could you post one up. Wastickslinger you better post a pic of that high mountain buck to refresh my memory. Alwine that second velvet buck is what dreams are made of. Rob that buck with the trash is ridiculous. Justin quit holding out. Great bucks guys thanks for posting.
