Awesome buck Alan, and welcome to the party Bone, I was wondering when you were going to post a couple, your photos are always awesome.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

No shame in taking that buck, Sfrenger!  It's always exciting to have a big buck spotted and it certainly makes it easier to hold out!  Don't give up on that big one you've been chasing either.  I hunted my 2011 archery buck for an entire season(I had a multi tag) and finally got my chance in late bow season.  It's a special moment to take a buck you've worked so hard for that you feel you know him personally!
Alan, that is a stud buck.

Thanks for that Kurt. Wish I lived somewhere close to entiat. I would have all the big bucks scouted out already. That buck i've been after is probably one of the biggest whitey's i've ever seen. Only seen 2 others alive that were bigger. The year that I had this guy pegged, he broke off one of his points. It's taken a lot of moving my cameras and packing in hundreds of pounds of salt before finding him again. Unfortunately I have a cat that has been killing a lot of deer. I have had this guy on my camera twice and had him sneak up behind me while I was rattling in my tree stand. Stupid west side tree hugging granolas killed more deer and elk than they will ever know by outlawing the use of bait and dogs.

That thing is still a pig Shane. I have seen many 180" Mule Deer but only 2 true 180" Whitetail in the wild. That being said,I don't hunt Whitetail every year.
