How to handle this problem?
« on: June 27, 2013, 06:29:40 PM »
How do I fix this problem?  My Brittany has a new buddy in the house and seems to really love her.  Seems my baby can't go anywhere without my Brittany bringing her one of her toys.  She even drops them in her  crib sitting right next to the bed.  This is the reason I will always have Brits!  They aren't just great bird dogs, they are awesome family members as well..  Our Brit is a great house dog/family member, but jump on a horse and watch her turn into an 800+ yard All Age trial dog.  Scratch the horse and she is a perfectly mannered 200- yard hunting dog...  My question is who's mimicking who?  Is my daughter mimicking my Brit or is my Brit mimicking my daughter??  I couldn't be more proud of both of them!

looks like a good problem to have.

Great pic. Brings back memories of my first Brit that I brought into the family home when my first of four was just a year old. That dog put up with babies and kids pulling on him, wrestling with him, even jumped on him  a time or two.
The most patient dog I've ever seen.
Congratulations!

Two keepers for sure.  Congratulations by the way.  Just had another Granddaughter last September.....little girls are so easy to spoil.  You're in trouble big time.  :chuckle:

Well ok, but ya gotta stop shaving your legs, or is my monitor resolution that poor  :chuckle:
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
