What is a good spotting scope Between $500 to $1000?
I know Swarovski is really good?
But what is your guys thought of a good one?

Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60mm.  Can't be beat all around in  my opinion.  Low power to scan, and high enough power to bring em close.  Plus, there's an excellent deal on one in the classifieds right now right in your price range.

Hrm, I don't see it either, it probably did sell.  If I were you I'd strongly consider saving for the HD version of the scope which is just slightly more than your budget.  Might be able to find one used for within your budget too.

I have this spotter but in the hd and love it for its size and performance.  You can usually pick up the regular one or hd version used for the 500-600 range and I believe retail is 999 for regular and like 1299 for hd..

I would recommend the 16x48x65 Vortex Razor HD.  You can pick it up for just over $1000.  Pm me if u want more detail

The Leupold Gold Rings are really nice in that price range. I have a Mk4 (same spotter but with a reticle) that I picked up off Camofire for about $900. If you can swing the extra for an HD model, you won't be disappointed.

If you spend more than 1k for a Leupold or Vortex HD you might want to consider just purchasing the Swaro 20x60x65 for about 700 bucks more.  Then no regrets.  Vortex Razor HD is a nice scope but check on the weight of it compared to others.  Leupold is a decent one if you are sticking to your budget.  You don't really need much more than 48 power anyways.  I have the Swaro and normally initially set it at 25 power until I want to dial something in.  Don't forget the cost of the tripod and head.  That will set you back a few hundred more on the low end.

I like the Bushnell Elite 20-60x80 spotting scope.  It weighs just under 4 lbs and gives you a lot of power.  It retails for a little more than your price range ($1478.95), but in my opinion worth the money.

I have the modular STX with 95mm and 65mm objective. It's amazing to say the least. It's crystal clear at very long distances. It's longer than most scopes so on some packs it may not go in an outside zip pocket. Go check it out.

I just bought the vortex razor hd 20x60x80 and I could not be more pleased.  Just a tad over $1000

Leupold Kenai HD. Its $500 cheaper than the gold ring hd and is just as good optically if not better with the 80mm obj IMO. Ditto on the get the best tripod and head you can afford. the glass is all junk without this.

Yes. The place where the adjustments happen. Higher end tripods are usually just legs. Then you buy the head. Different strokes for different folks. Personal preference from style to style, etc.
