I just bought the vortex razor hd 20x60x80 and I could not be more pleased.  Just a tad over $1000

Leupold Kenai HD. Its $500 cheaper than the gold ring hd and is just as good optically if not better with the 80mm obj IMO. Ditto on the get the best tripod and head you can afford. the glass is all junk without this. :twocents:

What is a good spotting scope Between $500 to $1000?
I know Swarovski is really good?
But what is your guys thought of a good one?

Yes. The place where the adjustments happen. Higher end tripods are usually just legs. Then you buy the head. Different strokes for different folks. Personal preference from style to style, etc.
