(6) $1,000,000 of the state wildlife account--state appropriation15 is provided solely to the department for resources that serve to16 promote and engage nonlethal deterrence methods relating to wolf and17 livestock interaction with a priority given to funding cooperative18 agreements with livestock producers, and of this amount, $250,000 in19 fiscal year 2014 is provided solely for compensation for injury or loss20 of livestock caused by wolves as prescribed in chapter 77.36 RCW.
(4) $32,000 of the state wildlife account--state appropriation is10 provided solely for the implementation of Engrossed Second Substitute11 Senate Bill No. 5193 (wolf conflict management). If the bill is not12 enacted by June 30, 2013, the amount provided in this subsection shall13 lapse.
(4) $300,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal22 year 2014 and $300,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for23 fiscal year 2015 are provided solely for the Washington State24 University agricultural research center to conduct public outreach and25 education related to nonlethal methods of mitigating conflicts between26 livestock and large wild carnivores. Of the amounts provided in this27 subsection, $200,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for28 fiscal year 2014 and $200,000 of the general fund--state appropriation29 for fiscal year 2015 are provided solely to the center to conduct a30 detailed analysis of such methods. The amounts appropriated in this31 subsection may not be subject to an administrative fee or charge, and32 must be used for costs directly associated with the research and33 analysis.
