Probably Christmas--Ammo manufacturers tool up for each caliber and make what they think they'll sell in a year.  Then move on to the next caliber.  It might be a year before they get back full circle again.  In the meantime, there's a lot of "no gots".  :twocents:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

When the prices for gasoline and electricity return to normal.

I thought they already are "normal" ??? Prices are set by where the quantity supplied equals the quantity demanded and where marginal revenue equals marginal cost. What is an"normal" price of a gallon of gasoline?

We all have normative views of what ammo, gas etc should be, but that is not always what is normal.

Unless there is a significant change in mining and extraction regulations, I don't think well ever see .22lr below $15 a brick ever again or gasoline under $2.00/gal. Laws and taxes are a factor, but so are raw commodity prices as well.  :twocents:

Thats heavy............

Never because they know you will pay. Just like last time the ban happened. The prices jumped from 1.99 for a box of 7.62x39 to over 5.00 dollars. Wow and after all the freaking out stopped. The prices dropped but down to 3.99 a box.  :bash: So I think it is all just a game to drive the prices up.  :twocents:
