Appears you were pretty high, so I'm going to assume that snow is pretty much gone from 6,000 feet down?  Thanks for the report...it's getting about that time when the 'fever' starts!

yea I was... umm I would say about that yea not exactly sure.. but if your familiar with harts pass , theres snow at the ranger station , had to park just passed the ranger station and hike in from there.. ohhhh yea I would say that fever is hitting me pretty bad haha after seeing him its getting hard to focus at work hahaha
be careful going in search of adventure its ridiculously easy to find.

That snow berm around the corner there usually lasts until mid-late July. Spent many days, (and nights) in that country. My old backyard!

From the looks of the scenery I figure you went out either the west fork or over windy pass.
Regardless of which of those trails you took, if either,  be sure you have a bear tag for the high hunt. Just saying from when I packed hunters in for the outfitters.

If you can get into the area a week before the high hunt I would get in and put up a camp because a couple of the outfitters work that area hard during the high hunt, lots of camps and being GMU 203 it doesn't open til the high hunt....

Haha west fork :) first time I've ever been up there and def not the last I love it already , I will for sure have a bear tag , ohh really ? 203 doesn't open for bear in aug ? I will try to get in early and set up something but work :// ugh haha but thanks for the advice !

i know man im pumped to get out !! ill be going back over soon while bear hunting / scouting and gonna try to fin em again but my luck he wont be found especially in september haha
