Warden ...Retrieving well ! Update 7/7/2013
« on: July 01, 2013, 02:36:14 PM »
Been working with our dog Warden ..man he has it bred into him for sure ...I was tossing rocks and he was diving to the bottom trying to retrieve them ...that is something special in a lab ..He is only 6 months old but coming along strong ...Plus I was tossing the dummy into Lilly pads and he had no trouble coming up with it ... I am getting excited again to do some Fowl and upland bird hunting again ..can not wait !

Good looking dog. Our pup is 7 months old now and she is in her last two weeks of training up at Conway Kennels. My cousin said she is doing well and should be ready for this season. It sure is fun watching a good dog, with good instincts, learn how to use them.

Get him the mallard duck floating training toy.
Looks real. My lab thinks it's real, and goes crazy.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

I never told you the whole story  :dunno: :chuckle: They all know my dogs name now  :dunno: :yike: When they wrote Teddy the ticket for fishing they ask him to change the dogs name .....NOT !!!!!! I am not changing Teddys mind ..seriously though , that name does fit the dog and now everyone is used to calling him that the more they like it ...Not all to do with the warden thing but it is a different name you never hear for a pet !!! notice how I used the word pet and not dog ! I do not want them to think we do not like them ...that's for sure  :dunno: ;) I just hope we can all get along this fall  :chuckle: :yeah:

How come we are not dog training together?
I was at that lake today with my son and both dogs.
We intro his pup 8 months to the boat. And through water marks for both dogs.

Both spayed females.

Umm too bad. Takes some fun out of it when you can't run him next to other dogs. I would think at his age you could correct that.

But I am certainly no professional trainer for sure.

Well the invitation is always open. Nice to have someone else throwing marks. And watching other dogs run.
