Looks like a herd of Boone and Crockett ticks to me  :o

I am leaning towards ticks also.    Not sure about the B&C points :dunno:  How do you measure?

It looks like the doe has deer hair loss syndrome. A growing problem in the Northwest.

They are just a growth on the deer. I see them almost every year and they disappear with the summer coat.once the weather cools down.
