Big Bend 2nd Deer
« on: July 02, 2013, 10:15:37 AM »
My brother-in-law and I are going to give the Big Bend Unit a little love this year and are each bringing our youth sons and senior citizen father with us. We are very excited to give a new unit a shot and are excited to be able to shoot some does. If anyone has any info on the Big Bend that would be helpful for us as a starting point that would be great! Go ahead and send a PM if you prefer. Thanks for the help!

Farmers over there are very nice. Get numbers off fences and give them a call. They are usually more then happy to let you take out a few does.

The farmers defiantly want those does gone. I drew the archery buck tag about seven years ago and when I was there in the early season asking for permission to hunt that tag, they all want me to shoot a doe instead. Good luck on the hunt there are a lot of deer in the unit. Well there use to be
