I see you live in Puyallup. My friend just did a hike near the Carbon River, up near Coplay Lake. He drove to the Summit Lake/Bearhead Mountain trail head then hiked up Bearhead, less than a week ago. Apparently Twin Lake (approximately 4800 feet) is half melted out and Bearhead (just over 6000 feet) has ten feet of snow. Based on his report, you should be able to avoid snow if you stay below 4,000 feet.
