Actually it has a volvo 120 inboard with volvo outdrive. I wanted an outboaed but couldn't pass this up. I am going to get a honda four stroke kicker for it and then use the heck out of it. Crab, fish, shrimp, and tow the grandkids around.

I've got pretty much the same hull with my '72, 17' Olympic that I paid $400 for then put my 88hp Johnson on it for awhile then upgraded to a 2010 E-Tec in 09. So I've got $8k worth of engine on a $400 boat!!! I'd get rid of my wife before the E-Tec.

You just can't go wrong with the older boats
Good sturdy haul, not like the ones built today. I'm finishing up on my '69 21' Bell Boy for this summers ocean trip.

Salmon fishing has been pretty good around the Pt Defiance area. You can make a day of it.

I hear those bell boys are great boats also. When the paperwork was done and I handed the guy the cash he started crying. His dad died awhile back and the boat was his dads baby he said it was like selling his memories. He asked me all kinds of questions because he wanted to go to a good home. Somehow I feel a sense of responsability now.

I see you are in the Tacoma area and talking about getting your grandkids out in the boat. When the pinks coming in down here that would be a perfect time to get the grandkids out. Fish close to shore from browns point all the way up to Redondo.

Hi Gotshot. I haven't heard much from you since meeting you at the 2nd amendment rally.
Great find on the boat!
I know you'll have a fun time with the little ones.
Same a day to take out some of us big kids, too.
Carl
