I enjoyed this event, bought some traps and learned a bunch.
Thanks for putting this on.

Have to say it, anyone who missed it was really unlucky with scheduling or maybe just a bonehead :chuckle: :dunno:
Best rendezvous we've had in a few years I think. Attendence was up, more vendors then ever, there was a lot of trapping equipment sold.
Some really excelent demos. If you left early and missed Johns raccoon demo you would kick yourself if you knew what you missed. It was #1.
Get this, there were 5 tables of new trap designs. Unbelievable how innovative we are getting.
My favorite was Bob Maiers new trigger on a swim through. Ted Cantrell had a redesigned swim through that looked first rate too. I liked Erics funnel traps too.
Here's a kind of funny one. Our very own Big Wood asked me to look at a trap he had made that was in his truck. He was too shy to put it out on the table. Well, it looked like a great twist on a current design, certainly better then the original IMHO. Took some prodding to get him to display it. Pretty nice trap really. Thanks for bringing it Chris.

Always see what you should have done after the fact. Next year should be better.

I liked garys mink float trap, once the mink is caught it hits a trip rod on the back and drops the trap into the water. A 72 hour mink float set. Now if someone can come up with an easy fast way to skin and put up beaver I'd be set!

Thank you to everyone involved in putting on the Ronde!!!  It was great!

The clever ideas in all the new traps really show how resourceful trappers can be, especially when pushed by the anti-'s.  We should have a display of new traps every Ronde.

Thank you so much for the raffel.   I'm going to try the Comstock for almost every kind of animal this winter.  And I will take a picture of everything I catch in it.

So nice to see familiar faces.   Some who have passed on, will always be missed.
