A couple of years ago, my wife and I were driving between holidays to get from my Parents to her parents, any we were between Soap Lake and Coulee City, when we passed the Dry Falls Visitors Station.  If I remember correctly this was roughly the weekend of Christmas Holiday, but could have been another Holiday in the winter.  Anyway, my wife screams out something un-intelligible about some animals and to turnaround.  So I doubled back and got the point and shoot camera out.  My wife directed my attention to the far side of the Dry Falls Visitor center building, to where I see these animals that I have never seen before.  These are the only pics that turned out, and you can see that it is snowing, so it obscured the picture.  It appears these two animals were just trying to get out of the wind.

When we asked my Father-in-Law (FIL) about these animals as they are only about an hour from this location, he mentioned that he had heard of some unusual animals being cited down by Coulee City.  He said the rumor was that someone had some exotics and they were turned loose, because the owner couldn't maintain them or wouldn't.  Apparently WDFW was notified, but they chose to do nothing.  I don't know if any of this is true as it is all hearsay, but I am looking to see if anyone else has some more qualified information.

I have always wondered the same thing. I have seen them there a few times. So if they are not in the game book and roaming free can we shoot them like you can fallow deer. It would make for a heck of a conversation piece european mounted.  :chuckle:
