I ordered a Moultrie M880 and a 32 gb card.  I liked the aa battery option and seemed to have decent reviews from all.  Hope to have some pics to share by the end of summer!

Tell me the good, bad and ugly about this camera if you have used one.

I haven't used the M880 but have used the D55.  Very happy with the quality of pics it takes and the batteries last quite a while

My buddy and I have a couple of those (m880's) on the way as well. Good luck out there! Can't wait to get them posted in our hunting area!

You should probably be able to hold about 1.5 million pictures on that card.

Just turn it on, hit record on the video setting and you can simply let it run constantly!

I was thinking the same thing because my 8 gb card holds like 10k pictures and that is at the 8mp setting.  :yike:

Given 8gb holds 10k pictures and it is only 4x as big then it should only hold 40k pictures.  I am undecided on the card.  I have a couple of 8gb cards for my canon camera.

32 gig would be good if you want to take video. I don't see the reason to spend all the extra money on a 32 gig card just for pictures.

:yeah:  I just got a new Wildgame W6E camera, and it will take up to a 64 MB SDHC card.  I got the smallest SDHC card I could find, because all I want is pictures, and the card will take over 4,000 shots.  I think it's an 8 MB card, but I don't want to dig through the coffee grounds to find the packaging.  :chuckle:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

My 8gb cards will hold almost 8k 8mp photos.

Whoa that's a lot of 8's.

I got the camera out and let it soak for the first time from July 20th to August 13th when my hunting partners pulled the card for me.  Over 4000 pictures in the 24 days.  I will get some pics posted tonight.

A couple spikes showing up for the hit list!  :)

FWIW I wouldn't have been able to capture all 4100 pictures on a 4GB card with this 8MP camera.  Camera was set to capture a picture every 30 seconds.  I would have had to reduce capture time dramatically.  The overkill/peace of mind was worth the extra $10.

I am also able to use this card in my home camera so I nevef have to worry about running out of space again around the holidays.
