Carl is right there are some big bucks in their. Most people road hunt or jump on a clearcut for 30 min. Not good odds of getting that bigger buck. More prone to shoot a spike or fork. There was a nice 4x taken this year during the youth hunt. Good lookin set of antlers. Good luck

Bunch of logging machinery got vandalized AGAIN up there, it wont be long I think until they shut the gates and make er walk in only, my grandpas ranch borders vail, thought I would spend opening morning last year on the edge of his place just in vail, I had 15 trucks blow out my clear cut before it was light, needless to say I will never waste my time there again, its not hunting.

just talked to weyerhauser today about this in an area i elk hunt and I was told you may walk, ride a bike or ride a horse behind any red dot road, yellow dot road or gated road.
If you dont like guns...DONT BUY ONE!!
