I was always trying to find that perfect boot. I finally broke down and paid the cost of getting a pair made for me from a local company. Best money I ever spent, I wear these boots all the time and have never regretted it.

Not to highjack this thread, but what's the company that made your boot?

Love my Kennetreks, love my Asolos as well.

I put 300+ miles on my Asolos this year and they still look really good, by far the most comfortable boot I have ever owned.

Have had the Asolo 520 GTX for 7 years and they are still a solid boot.  From Alaska to the Shenandoah, I have put quite a few miles on them and with the help of Obernaufs they still look and perform like new.

With that said, Last year I picked up a pair of Schnees Bearthooths and I don't know if I'll ever look back. With these and the Lathrop and Sons insole, they make for an amazing boot right out of the box.

I am a boot builder for whites here in spokane and I swear by the quality.  Other hunt washington members would agree, they are the last boots you will own. Check it out.  Every boot we have is all made by hand with the closest attention to detail.  Well worth the money.

Maybe you could ask them to sponsor with an ad page or banner ad. Maybe an introductory discount for HW members.  :dunno:

Check out Elk Trackers by Irish Setter. They are the most comfortable footwear I've ever had.

 That's what I wear since danners went to crap.  4 years and on 3rd pair.  Dry, warm, comfy.  Soles do wear fast that's why I replace em.

MAGA!  Again..

I have kennetreks I bought off camofire and they are by far the best hunting boot I've ever worn. This will be my second year with them. I have no regrets. They did really well with traction and ankle support in the mountains of se Idaho. If I remember right they were $219 down from $399 on camofire.
