Nice set of blades Rick..........that top one looks like a sweet skinner to me! I'm hoping Ripper shoots the smallest bear of the bunch....that way I can rib him about it (because I'm 100% jealous).

How big was this years H20? I will shoot nothing smaller!  :chuckle:    I will be happy with any bear. Actually, I'm just happy to go and hang out, meet some new people, and learn how to call properly. My heart is pounding away just thinking about it.

Skull right at 18 inches....no official measurement....I think it was about 225 on the paw....nice boar that as you know I'm very pleased with.

For you...I expect nothing smaller than 18 1/2 skull, 300 on the paw....and pefectly cinnimon with a perfect white chest patch. Oh....also it must have one torn ear from fighting and....

Oh trust me, I'm ready to do my part. I just bought me a new gun, put a scope on it and had the guy at Walmart bore site it for me. I'm ready to go kill me a bear!

I have no doubt buddy!

I'm going to be on pins and needles knowing you guys are out there putting the hurt on them. I'd be happy to donate some pep sticks and some snacks from my spring bear. Maybe it will bring a little luck?

I shot this bear 3 years ago. It was in a terrible hell hole, took us 10 hours to pack it out.

I have to work today until 2:00 then I'm taking the family out to do some shooting. I need to practice my offhand shooting more. I don't care how much you shoot, you can never practice enough. We'll be shooting my sons Savage 11 in 7mm-08, my  TC Pro Hunter in 7mm Rem mag, 338 win mag and my 12g slug barrel. We will probably put a few rounds through the 357 also. I will post up some pic's later on this eve or tomorrow morning. This hunt can't get here soon enough.

Here are some pics of past shooting sessions.
