wolves in ahtanum
« on: June 08, 2013, 10:11:11 PM »
A guy at work, who is not known to tell stories let me know today they saw 2 wolves in the ahtanum state forest by the tree phones campground. He said they were driving up the road and saw something. Stopped and thought it was a coyote, had the same colors but seemed bigger. Then a big charcol colored one walked up and confirmed what they were. He said they werent scared at all, just kinda wanderd off. Were about 75yds.

2 years ago late archery in the ahtanum. Talking w/ the loggers working way up Whites Ridge. They had multiple sightings of a pack of wolves. I had one cross the road 20 yds in front of the truck last month. Just south of Clear Lake in the Rimrock GMU. Know of two separate sightings on Pinegrass Ridge(Rimrock).

I saw prints in Rimrock unit that I thought were suspious, however my partner played them off as dog tracks. Once these demons cross the cascades it's going to be over. You'll never be able to remove them once they hit all the timbered forests. Timber companies will be welcoming them with open arms and locked gates. Cannot wait.

Since that is South of I90... Umtanum 342 we need some eyes on this so that we can get a pac documented In the SW region...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
