Fall Brookies love the colors...
« on: October 18, 2008, 07:49:44 PM »
I hiked into a little high lake today and caught a few nice brookies, I love the colors on these things, my wife had the camera so I had to use the cell phone, pretty good pics for a phone.

Darn, those are some good looking brooks!

I've been to several this year, and the largest brooky this year was a whopping 11" and scrawny!

I'm jealous!
I left it better than I found it...did you?

Beautiful fish.  I have only caught one in my life but it was the most beautiful fish I have seen, even though it was only about 6"

For thoese who haven't fished for brookies, they are very agressive fish. Goose lake in Skamania Co. has nice ones . They are great eating too.  :chuckle:
