I want to buy an inexpensive ML before hunting season, if it is worth it.  I have been borrowing an about 15 year old 50 cal, but I thought even the cheaper technology might be better than the one I can use.  I don't want to spend big bucks, and this looks like a decent deal to me.  Has anyone ever had experience with this model?

Thanks in advance for your input!

You are aware that this is shotgun 209 primer gun and is not legal in the Pacific Northwest for ML hunting.

You would have to go to the TC Pacific Northwest Hunter for a legal rifle - but I would not recommend it at all.  The barrel twist is 1-48 and that is limiting...

This is an excellent rifle...

You can contact Bob's Sporting Goods in Longview and get their price also it will be a bit less than the Warehouse.

This is probably one of the best rifles you can get and again at Bob's it should be less money...

I know both of these are more expensive that you might want to go, but if you have been borrowing one for 15 years now you must like the sport - might as well invest in a bit better more of a life time rifle...

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

Thanks for the advice. I have been borrowing my brothers every now and then over the past few years, but this year I plan on going for a big trip and want to get one now to get ready.

So I am thinking, are you after a Washington legal ML or one that is legal in the most of the 47 other states?

The DISC I suggested is so versatile you can make it legal in all states...

But, it my belief there is even a better rifle - course it is more money - but I am using a Knight Ultra-Lite - it is really good - in fact here in Idaho I even use it during rifle season...

This rifle would be above your spending goal - but it is also a lifetime gun..

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!
