Hello,

I bought a Pe Ell permit from WeyCo.  I typically elk hunt on some WeyCo land nearer Winlock, but I am thinking of hunting the main tree farm south of Pe Ell.

I'd like to partner up with somebody who will hunt most if not all of the season.  I don't have a camper, but if you do I'll gladly split expenses on that.  If we day-hunt, I'm looking to meet up in each morning and then hunt apart, but in the same general vicinity.  Then, meet up at the end of the day to compare notes and make sure the other guy didn't fall down and die. :) Hopefully, we'll have to help each other pack out elk too. Given that we'll have vehicle access that shouldn't be too terrible.

Between now and elk season, I'd like to do some scouting.  Together if possible, but alone when the other guy can't make it--again sharing info so we can have a viable plan going into November.

I am an attorney and don't want to risk disbarment just to get a bull.  So, we need to follow the all the laws and all the WeyCo rules.  (If you plan on shooting an extra elk, or bringing along your neighbor who doesn't have a permit, I'm not OK with that.  But if you want to ask me a million legal questions, I'm all ears).  I'm no hunting expert, and certainly not a diehard when it comes to effort, but I'm willing to put miles on my boots and can hit what I'm aiming at.

Anyway, send me a PM telling me who you are and how to get a hold of you.  I'll give you call.

Thanks!

Nice seeing you around.
