swapping scopes and lost a screw
« on: July 16, 2013, 10:30:07 PM »
So I was out at the range saturday and found that the 338 was a little much so i took the scope off of it and bought some Leupold rings and was putting the scope on the 264 and somewhere I lost one of the screws  :bash: Didn't think much of it I have a couple other sets of old rings and got a screw out of those but it is to small in diameter and doesn't  work. So does anybody have a screw for a set of new Leupold rings laying around? I really don't want to go buy a second set of rings. Someone at the range suggested just taking them back and saying there was a screw missing but I can't do that because I lost it and wouldn't feel right about it.

Thanks

Just call Leupold.  They will send it to you for free.

I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

Got the screws today from Wadu1 and got the scope mounted and bore sighted. Off to the range tomorrow and see how it shots.

Thanks again Greg for the help and I saved the others for ya so we can meet up and have a beer.
